Meet the North Metro Atlanta office

More than 90% of seniors want to age in their own home with dignity but getting the right type of care can seem daunting. At Senior Helpers of the North Metro Atlanta area  we believe getting the best care for your loved ones should not be complicated.

We take in-home care very seriously and make it a priority to provide the highest level of client service possible. We have built an exceptional team of care professionals, each committed to remaining at the forefront of the in-home care industry through our proprietary ongoing training and education programs.

Our History

Our History

Senior Helpers was founded in 2002 by Tony Bonacuse with the help of Peter Ross after their firsthand experience in caring for their respective family members. Tony and Peter identified a need that was not being filled properly by the other companies. They realized that most seniors would prefer to age in their own home rather than move into an unfamiliar institution. Unfortunately, the options available to most seniors were very limited.  Most seniors did not have access to well-trained, dependable and affordable in-home care. This was the mission-driven spark that started Senior Helpers.

The first office opened in Baltimore, and quickly developed a reputation for delivering excellent in-home senior care with their well-trained staff of professional caregivers. Based on the success of the Baltimore location, the company began to expand. Over the past 20 years, the Senior Helpers family has grown to include a network of more than 300 locally owned and operated franchises across the United States.

Like every other owner, we too are fully-committed to the original goal of providing dependable and affordable in-home care with well-trained caregivers. Nothing is more important to us than being the best available resource for seniors and families in our community.

We have been lucky to serve hundreds of seniors in our community over the years, and we are committed to continuing to provide uncompromising levels of care to all our families.

Our process

Our process

The first step in the process is a complimentary, initial in-home care assessment with a Senior Helpers consultant. This assessment can help you understand the true needs of your loved one, and your options. Together we can discuss their needs, our senior care services and determine what’s best for your entire family.

We will cover:

  • Your family's specific goals
  • Your loved one's daily plan design and schedule
  • Pricing and payment methods
  • Implementation process
  • Ongoing communication and follow-up plan

Anum Virani

Anum Virani

Owner

Anum Virani’s journey into home care began with a deeply personal story. She lovingly cared for her grandfather after his dementia diagnosis. That experience opened her eyes to the power of simple, compassionate care and ultimately guided her toward a calling far beyond spreadsheets and systems.

A proud Georgia State alumna, Anum holds a dual bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, with majors in Accounting and Computer Information Systems. For over 15 years, she has combined her business acumen with heart-led leadership—building dynamic teams, nurturing long-lasting client relationships, and championing top-tier service that prioritizes dignity and trust.

Anum is passionate about creating a client-centered environment where families feel supported and cared for. For her, it’s not just about care—it’s about improving lives.

When she’s not wearing her entrepreneur hat, you’ll find Anum outdoors hiking or biking, or in her kitchen experimenting with healthy recipes.

Anum co-owns the Senior Helpers Peachtree City office alongside her longtime friend and college classmate, Amber. What started as a friendship has blossomed into a meaningful business partnership—built on shared values, deep trust, and a commitment to making a difference. Together, they’ve proudly earned the Best of Georgia Award in the home care category for the last four consecutive years—and have been nominated again in 2025, a testament to their unwavering dedication to excellence

Michelle Goosby

Michelle Goosby

Area Manager

Hi, I'm Michelle! As the Area Manager I oversee HR and our wonderful Care Team. I truly enjoy helping others grow and succeed in both my professional and personal life. Someone asked me recently, “what is your superpower” and my immediate response was “love”. I think it’s important to show love in all we do. When I am not busy baking cookies for my grandsons, I enjoy trail walks with my two pups, reading and writing poetry and practicing self care and personal growth-as it is also important to “love” ones self. When I joined Senior Helpers, I was looking for for a place where my personal values and my work would seamlessly align, and I am happy to say, I have found that here…

Hi, I'm Crystal! As a Client Care Coordinator, I help maintain strong communication and relationships with our clients. I specialize in our Medicaid department to ensure accurate communication between agencies for onboarding and billing purposes. On a personal level, I'm compassionate, dedicated and strive to make a difference in life. This mindset is what lead me to Senior Helpers! A great woman once said "Each one of us can make a difference but together we make a change" and together that's what we are doing. I love classic cars, mostly from the 60s-70s era and working on modifying engines with my husband. In my spare time you'll find me here, there and everywhere really. I'm super easy going and just really love life!

Community Outreach Grand Opening | Chamber Event

Community isn’t just a word in our mission; it’s at the heart of who we are. From the very beginning, we knew that to truly serve our neighbors, we had to go beyond care services. We had to be present in the spaces that matter. That’s why we’re proud members of the Greater North Fulton Chamber. Being a part of the Chamber has given us a powerful opportunity to connect with other local leaders, support small businesses, and build meaningful relationships that strengthen our entire community.
